Fitness Weekend at Black Hall Lodges

Our fitness weekends are a great way for you to spend some quality time focusing on YOU! Over a weekend you can focus on your physical and mental health, treating your body with great food, a weekend of fun and challenging activities and a bit of R&R with massages, hot tubs and everything you need to unwind and chill out.

We’ve developed a weekend programme filled with physical activities, team challenges and fun activities suitable for all levels and experience of fitness. During the weekend you’ll have solace in your own luxury lodge overlooking the stunning Shropshire countryside.

This weekend is for everyone – you don’t have to be fit to get fit! You decide how many sessions you want to complete, but we will do our best to motivate, encourage and support you through the weekend to make sure you get the most out of your weekend.

Your Fitness Weekend

Your weekend will begin on Friday evening where you will arrive at the retreat location and get a quick tour of the site and your lodge for the weekend. We’ll then serve a freshly prepared, wholesome meal for the group before heading out for a steady paced walk. This is your first taste of an Ultimate Fitness weekend!

On Saturday we’ll be up bright and early (we’ll give you an enthusiastic wake-up call!) ready for the morning fitness trail or invigorating bootcamp session before tucking into a hearty breakfast in your luxury accommodation. All lodges offer the best in stylish comfort, with your fridge and cupboards stocked with everything you need for breakfast such as porridge, poached eggs and wholefoods – everything you need to get fuelled for the day ahead!

Nutritious, freshly made lunches and evening meals will be provided in the communal staff lodge. All food in your lodge, and prepared meals, are included in the price for the weekend.

Get ready for your Saturday and Sunday to be action-packed, with a structured plan of sessions throughout the weekend, including;

  • Orienteering
  • Barre Yoga
  • Team fitness challenges
  • Small group TRX/personal training sessions
  • Stretching
  • Walk/hike on parts of Offa’s Dyke

You’ll also get time in between sessions to enjoy your lodge facilities, including hot tub, indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna. On Saturday evening, join us for a social gathering after dinner or you can crash out in your lodge ready for the next day of activities.
